Abstract : The perimeter of Nitenga located upstream of the dam Zéguédeguin is one of the sites of work of the National plan of hydraulic works. The development of the site will make it possible to valorize the water reserve (8, 673,000 m3) and to increase the market-gardening production of Burkina Faso. This technical study relates to 50ha and the system of irrigation proposed is it micro sprinkling. Several speculations such as tomato, onion, maize, etc. can be cultivated. The water requirements for two campaigns for the period dries were estimated at 709,214 m3 for 50ha. The adequacy of the water resources with the needs for the new installation and existing was established. The irrigated perimeter is organized in three (03) blocks (A (18ha), B (18ha) C (14ha)) served each one out of water by three main pipelines DN140 (600m). It includes a rectangular channel out of ground length of 600m, a pumping station of three motor-driven pumps (160.38m3/h, 40.9m; 160.38 m3/h, 41.7m; 124.74 m3/h, 44.5m) and three (03) submain pipelines DN225. On each surface of one hectare, a manifold DN63 of 100 m, 33 laterals DN50 per manifold and 33 sprinklers per laterals of pressure rating of 1.5 bars constitute the distribution network. The drains composed of three secondaries, a main and a collector are rectangular ground channels. The water turn is 3 days, the number of station is of 4 with a time of watering per days of 3.25h per simultaneously working station for 3 slopes. The flow of equipment is of 2.48 l/s/ha. The power provided by the pumps is of 1.6 kW/ha. The cost of installation is of 454,742,264 FCFA including all taxes is 9,094,845 FCFA/ha. |
