Abstract : The present paper entitled "Detailed technical studies of the development, tarring and rehabilitation of access roads to Farié's work on the Niger River " is part of the project for the construction of the bridge over the river. Niger to Farié funded by the African Development Bank (ADB). The work carried out in this brief presents on the one hand the rehabilitation work of an (existing) access road on the left bank of the Niger River in Farié and on the other hand the development and tarring of a new access road to the Farié Bridge on the right bank.
The Vizier method applied to the study of deflection, the assessment of pavement degradation and the study of traffic, allowed to propose a solution of recommendation of rehabilitation of the existing roadway. This solution includes the strengthening of 25 cm in gravelly natural lateritic, with a 5 cm bituminous concrete coating after recycling of existing layers + a 5 to 10 cm supply of materials for enlargement and adjustment.
The analysis of the geotechnical study and the study of traffic allowed to do the structural sizing of the roadways which was subsequently verified using the Alizé software. In addition, the sanitation study allowed for the sizing of the hydraulic works on the section of our study. In addition, the issues of signalling, road safety and environmental studies have been addressed. Finally, the pre-quantities study and estimate estimated the projected cost of the project to two billion nine hundred seventy-eight million two hundred fifty-eight thousand three hundred nine (2 978 258 309 F CFA) excluding taxes. |
