Abstract : The National Program of Hydraulic Improvements (PNAH) aims to contribute to the fight against poverty according to an approach which favors the logic of good management through the maintenance of existing investments. In this context, this work aimed to study the reconstruction of the Kobré dam, following the rupture of the weir and the deterioration of the dyke which occurred in 2010.
To achieve this objective, we proposed a site to rebuild the dam. Then, we proposed a design and sizing of the dike, the spillway and related works. We also identified the impacts of the project and the measures to manage these impacts, proposed a sustainable infrastructure management method and estimated the cost of the project. The agricultural area could also be developed.
In terms of results, note that the construction of the dam on a new site is necessary in view of the many constraints related to rehabilitation. The new dam will have a capacity of 1,079,791 m3. Annual contributions to the basin are estimated at 1,476,348 m3, enough to fill the dam and meet the various needs per campaign estimated at 371,435 m3. The dike is homogeneous in clay embankment 995 m long and provided with a horizontal drain. The spillway consists of a weight weir in a central position, 35 m long. It is possible to develop 20 ha per campaign. A committee has been proposed for better management of infrastructure, the approximate overall cost of which is eight hundred and ninety-six million four hundred and sixty-three thousand seven hundred and fifty-six (896,463,756) CFA francs (including tax), taking into account the environmental and social impact management plan. |
