Note générale :	A geotechnical investigation work was carried out at the roman ridge residential area, Accra, to find the cause of collapse of a two-storey building. An engineering seismopgraph model MD-3 was used in the investigation. Seismic surveys carried out provided data for the interpretation of the geologic structure. The results showed that the collage of the building could be attributed to movement along are of a group of small predomiantly NE-SW fautts traversing the site. This knowledge is vital to the development of the plots of land in the area.
