Abstract : The present study was made in the North in 10 km from Libreville in the district Angondjé. it concerned the improvement of the drinking water distribution in this part of the city through the realization of the drillings. To reach the aimed goals, the adopted methodological approach (initiative) consisted in making a diagnosctic of the current situation of the AEP, in executing a study of prospecting preliminary geophysics in the realization of drilling and in sizing the pipes of transport of water.
The diagnosis showed that the populations situated in the North of Libreville meet enormous problems of access to the drinking water which are understandable by the limit of the production units of Ntoum (175000 m3 / day) not managing any more to satisfy the demand (200000 m3 / day) in water of the populations. This situation weakens more, talks of an accelerated urbanization bound (connected) to a more and more important demography of the city of Libreville, and particularly to the North.
So, in the optics to improve the precarious situation which prevails in the North of Libreville, the study geophysics realized allowed to identify five ( 5 ) points (SP1, SP2, SP3, SP4, SP5) favorable to the setting-up (presence) of the drillings. Indeed, five ( 5 ) drillings were realized and allowed to obtain respectively debits (flows) of 15 m3 / day, 55 m3 / day, 25 m3 / day, 25 m3 / day and 30 m3 / day are a total of 3600 m3 / day of the additional water. The produced water was forwarded to the mini treatment station of capacity 100 m3, from pipes sized for that purpose.Mémoire Master d'ingénierie Infrastructures et Réseaux Hydrauliques.
