Present land described in relation to the intensity and distribution of cultivation, present farming systems, cattle production and forestery activities. This information is used to identify areas in which the environmental limitations are at a minimum for the growth of maize, millet, sorghum, groundnuts and cotton. Areas suitable for different types of agricultural development including livestock and forestery have been identified. |
