Also potentiometric surface maps were constructed for the Mississipi river alluvial acquifer in the delta for each April and September 1980 to September 1983. These potentiometric surface maps reports also presented preliminary interpretations of the acquifer hydrology. Work was started in 1982 on the conceptual and digital models of the alluvial acquifer.
