Subsequently the characteristic seismic features of the reservoir associated earthquakes and how they reflect upon the changes in the mechanical properties of rock masses are described. Recommandations on dam site investigation and seismic surveillance from the last chapter, in which also some comment is given about why certain large reservoirs are aseismic.
