This paper showed that once monthly streamflow measurements were used to estimate long-term mean annual flow and various points on the flow duration curve forms 12 sites in mountains areas of western Montana. Then, he talked about data from all measurement sites plus data from 34 gaging stations were used to develop regression equations relating mean annual flow of 10, 20, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 90 percent exceedance probability to mean annual flow. The study area was divide into two regions, with a different set of estimating equations applicable to each region. Finally it 's how that average errors of prediction were also calculated using data with held from the regression analyses. |
