The live weights of the N'Dama cattle at the Musaia animal husbandry station, Musaia, Sierra Leone, have been recorded monthly since 1949. In 1965 live weights were available on 986, 871, 795, 555 and 48 months of age. The numbers of males and females did not differ significantly until the age of 36 months. From the above analyses it was concluded that the ability of Musaia conditions was rather limited. |
