Note générale : |
The climat - diagram maps contained in this volume are to serve for a quick orientation of the cliamte and its zonation in the various world regions. The climate - diagram maps have several advantages over the usual climatic zonation maps. There are: 1) they show the transitory changes between the individual climate types, 2) there is no need of any interpolation or convension of the climatic data, and 3) the climate types are clearly shown in the form of diagrams. This facilitates the detection of homochimates, i.e., stations with closely similar climates. |
