Résumé :	Studies conducted for approximately 3 years in laboratories and lake pens indicate that evaporation reduction monolayers are not limiting factor to the biota of reservoirs. Because reservoirs considered for monolayer treatment are also used for recreational fishing and hunting, the influence on fish and wildlife of seven hexadecanol and octadecanol alcohols were evaluated, with particular emphasis on insect mortality.
