Mention d'édition : U.S Government Printing Office Editeur : U.S Government Printing Office Année de publication : 1984 ISBN/ISSN/EAN : CI-09428 Note générale : Landsat 1 and landsat 2 images were analysed in june 1976 to describe the flow regimens of streams and the regional distribution of vegetation in the Yemen arab republic (YAR). The findings provide a factual basis for planning a surface water data collection program and for preparing maps of plant distribution and agricultural land use. They lay the foundation for modernized water development and for effecting a program of countrywide water management in the YAR. The book was undertaken as part of the program of the Agency for International Development, with the cooperation of the Mineral and petroleum authority, ministry of economic, YAR.
