Abstract : The present work deals with the feasibility of electrification of the locality of Goumbayel in Senegal by a photovoltaic / diesel hybrid power station. The study aims to contribute to improving rural access to electricity in Senegal under the Community Development Emergency Program (PUDC). To do this, it was essential to collect data related to the energy needs of the village, in order to assess its energy demand. Once, the known needs, the dimensioning of the various components of the plant and the low-voltage electrical network was realized. The design of the hybrid power station is one of the critical tasks of this work, as it must integrate the concept of energy efficiency, and take into account the financial and environmental aspects while ensuring the proper functioning of the system.
The results obtained from the sizing allowed us to start the economic study to make sure of the feasibility of the project, by comparing the investment cost and the cost price of the kWh of the initial project to those of the project other energy production systems that are: a photovoltaic power station with storage and a diesel power station. Thus, it can be noted that for the same energy demand of 664.05 𝑘𝑊ℎ to be satisfied, the total costs over the service life of the installations and the cost per kWh are respectively 416 051 093 FCFA and 140 FCFA for the power station hybrid PV / Diesel; 498 570 039 FCFA and 160 FCFA for the PV plant with storage and 515 165 387 FCFA and 178 FCFA for the diesel power station. |
