Abstract : This thesis is about the study of the electrical transportation grid of the Regional Load Centre of Bobo Dioulasso (CRCB) to propose reinforcements up to the horizon 2035.
The grid of the CRCB made up by the substations of Kodéni, Bobo 1, Bobo 2 and Koua, feeds the downtown Bobo Dioulasso.
Three (3) reinforcement options were studied. The first reinforcement option was the creation of 90 kV voltage level from Kodéni to serve Koua and Bobo 1 substations plus the 33 kV reinforcement. For the second reinforcement option, the 90 kV created from Kodéni served Bobo 2 and Bobo 1 substations plus the 33 kV loop reinforcement. The third option concerned the creation of a 90 kV voltage level in addition to the future power substation Bobo 3.
The analysis of technical and economic criteria allowed to select the third reinforcement option because with the less investment (12.9 billion CFA), it will generate the less cost of non-served energy valued to 154 million CFA until the year 2035. For the same duration, on an environmental point of view the third option will be the least polluting with 10.6 kilotons of CO2 emitted.
The connection between the substations Kodéni and Banfora was analysed too. The study selected the reinforcement of the 33 kV line instead of the creation of a 90 kV voltage level. This reinforcement for the lowest investment (570 million CFA) will be the less polluting at the load peak of 2035 with 39.4 tonnes of emitted CO2. |
