Abstract : This brief is based on the results of the technical study for the construction of a dam for the benefit of the village of Léosgotenga in the rural commune of Gounghin, Center-East region of Burkina Faso. This project is approved by the Ministry of Water Management, which has received funding for the gradual rehabilitation of degraded structures and the completion of new dams, in response to higher-level community demand, within the framework of the national hydraulic development program. To achieve this objective, we have proposed a concept and sizing of the dike, the spillway and the associated structures. We have also identified the impacts of the project and the measures to manage these impacts, by proposing a sustainable mode of infrastructure management and estimate the cost of the project. The favorable agricultural zone can also be achieved. The proposed works will allow the storage of 1,116,000 m3 of water at the normal water level. The contributions estimated at 1,700,000 m3 in the ten-year year will therefore suffice to fill the basin. The basin is located outside a 30.89 km² pool. The dike in a fort homogeneous to a percentage of the aura has a length of 1.3 km and a maximum height of 5.3 m (final level of the crest: 316.8 m). A horizontal filter of 50 cm and a width of 10 m will be placed on the downstream pedestal of the dike in order to collect the infiltration water in the massif and to evacuate it downstream. The slope intended to evacuate the crosses is in a central position and measures 55 m long. It is a reinforced concrete weir-sail supported by avalanche counterparts and equipped with paraffins to avoid the fox phenomenon. It is dimensioned to evacuate a centenary crude of 74.42 m3/s. A pruning plant associated with the grazing cliff, on the 313.2 m coast, allows the irrigation of a perimeter of 9 ha in front of the dam. The overall cost of building the dam is estimated at 834,511,574 FCFA including tax. |
