TTC.
Abstract : Drinking water supply systems are installed to provide the population with sufficient and safe water. However, the Sabalibougou water system has been experiencing shortages in quantity for the past few years. One of the objectives of this report is to propose solutions to this problem. In order to carry out this diagnosis, we first conducted an inventory of the situation. At the end of the diagnosis, it appears that the most appropriate solution would be the realization of new drillings in order to increase the production capacity. Interviews and field visits were made to get an idea of the current state of the system, the water needs of the population and the quantity of water to be mobilized for current and future needs. After having compared the needs in drinking water compared to the production capacity of the wells, we concluded that there is a strong insufficiency on the production. Consequently, we proceeded to a re-sizing of the system and propose boreholes that can satisfy the water needs until 2031.
The quantity of water to be mobilized for the horizon 2031 were thus evaluated and estimated at 2512,94 m3/d, which it would be difficult for the existing network to convey under the best conditions. The water will be conveyed to a reinforced concrete prismatic receiver with a capacity of 900 m3 in order to serve the entire population under the best conditions. The proposed network is of mixed type. It extends over a total length of approximately 7838.53 m and is essentially made up of PVC/PN10 pipes with sections varying between 63 mm and 315 mm. The total cost of the project is estimated at 2,152,917,117 FCFA (Two billion, one hundred and fifty-two million, nine hundred and seventeen thousand, one hundred and seventeen FCFA) all taxes included. |
